Biographies by Romain Rolland
Details of the work I've done for the biography books of the life of Beethoven, Michelangelo and Tolstoi by the french writer Romain Rolland (1866-1944), project published by Great Star Culture (China). On this project I wanted to create a general composition with the three covers and the three backcovers too. The books are written with passion and sensitivity, one can breath all the respect and admiration that Romain had for the three geniuses. This is my homage to them.
For this project I partnered with Huion, who provided the Kamvas 24 Plus that is was very helpful for the digital part of this project, where I specially enjoy the chance to work in detailed areas, the precision of the battery free pen and the accuracy of colors during the coloring part. It's specially remarkable the natural feeling of the surface, very close to experience of drawing on paper. I also enjoyed the fact that comes with the perfect stand, which I can regulate it in the position I want for better ergonomics.
I also had the opportunity to test the Huion Mini Keydial KD100 which was super useful to work with; using all the shortcuts one need to speed up the process.
